Pressure Reducing Valves

Pressure reducing valves reduce a high and frequently fluctuating pressure to an adjustable constant pressure downstream of the valve. A spring keeps the valve open and this closes as the outlet pressure rises.
How Pressure Reducing Valve Work

1. Universal Valve for Small to Medium Flow Rates - DM 555
The DM 555 pressure reducer is a spring-loaded proportional controller for universal use with small to medium throughputs. The housing and internal parts in contact with the medium are made of stainless steel (1.4404 / 316L) with excellent corrosion resistance. The valve cone has a soft or hard seal.

2. Standard Cast Valve for Liquids and Gases - DM 618
The DM 618 pressure reducer is a diaphragm-controlled, spring-loaded proportional regulator with relief for high throughputs. The valve housing is made of cast steel. The diaphragm housing, spring bonnet and inner parts are made of stainless steel (1.4404 / 316L). The valve cone has a soft seal.

3. Universal Valve - DM 652
The pressure reducer DM 652 is a diaphragm-controlled, spring-loaded proportional regulator with relief for universal use with high throughput. This valve is made of deep-drawn stainless steel with an excellent surface quality. It is corrosion-resistant, very light and compact. The valve cone is relieved and has a soft seal.

8. Valve for Small Flow Rates - DM 505
The Pressure Reducer DM 505 is a diaphragm-controlled spring-loaded proportional control valve for small volumes. This pressure reducer is manufactured from deep-drawn stainless steel featuring excellent corrosion-resistance.

The tubular inlet spigot of the valve body accommodates the seat aperture. The soft-sealing valve cone is guided in the seat assembly and connected with the control diaphragm by means of a stirrup which surrounds the seat assembly.

9 Valve for Steam Applications - DM 505Z
The Pressure Reducer DM 505Z is a diaphragm-controlled spring-loaded proportional control valve for small volumes. This pressure reducer is manufactured from deep-drawn stainless steel featuring excellent corrosion-resistance.

The tubular inlet spigot of the valve body accommodates the seat aperture. The valve cone is guided in the seat assembly and connected with the control diaphragm by means of a stirrup which surrounds the seat assembly.
